The Bears are 20-12.

The Murray State Racers are 18-11 and feature the Ohio Valley's freshman of the year in Cameron Payne.

"Their freshman gets 16 a game from the point guard spot.  They have guys who can score it.  They have size and athleticism," said MSU coach Paul Lusk.  "They will be a very good challenge for us.  They've played similar opponents.  They beat Southern Illinois and they beat Evansville.  They went into Old Dominion immediately after we played Old Dominion with a full roster.  And led most of the game but lost at the end.."
