ST. JOSEPH, Mo--The chiefs are now five days away for the trier preseason opener. In our KC Blitz report we take you back to St. Joseph for Chiefs training camp.

As far as Eric Berry, he did sit out practice Saturday. It sounds as if he is questionable for Thursday's preseason game but only because the Chiefs are wanting to be careful with the pro bowl safety.

Marcus cooper left practice early again and Saturday it was for spasms.

On the offensive side of things, the Chiefs are hoping for a much improved year from 9th year tight end Anthony Fasano. He only played nine games last year getting 23 receptions for a total of 200 yards.

"He knows what is expected of him. He knows this is a tight end friendly offense. He was disappointed last year. He knew what kind of offense it was and you could see the frustration building up on him when he was injured, he wanted to be apart of this. Now he is healthy and out here and enjoying everyday of it," said Andy Reid.
