SPRINGFIELD, Mo--This is the second PGA sponsored golf tournament in the Ozarks in two months.

The Champions tour Legends of Golf was at Top of the Rock in June.

Tuesday the winners of that team event, Jeff Sluman and Fred Funk along with Jim Thorpe and Chip Beck played a foursome of pros and area businessmen in the skins game.

And the team of Funk and Sebastian Cappelen earned one skin, and Sluman and Harold Varner earned another for a draw.

Before the event, the Champions Tour players told the young guns how lucky they were to be able to play on the tour.

"I watch alot of golf and I watch their tour.  I tell you what, the way you drive the ball is just ridiculous man.  The scores you shoot are unbelievable man.  I thought you guys played with a bigger hole than we did," joked Champions tour pro Jim Thorpe.

"You guys are fortunate.  You get to play competition, see how good you are.  And I think that everybody comes out ready to go and hungry.  That's why you shoot so many good scores," said Champions tour pro Chip Beck.
