Cardinals Win Fourth Straight

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Springfield Cardinals took the first two games against Travelers and tried to do the same Saturday in game three.

Johnathon Cornelious looking for his first win of the season. In the fourth Cardinals Cornelious throwing some heat. Gets Alex Yarbrough to strike out.

But later in the fourth the Travelers Zach Borenstein gets a hold of one. The solo home run cuts the Cardinals lead to 2-1.

In the bottom of the fourth Cardinals giving plenty of run support. Travis Tartamella singles to right. A run comes in to make it 4-1 Cardinals.

Then, Mike O'Neill comes in to clean up. O'Neill laces it to the wall in right. For an RBI-triple.

Cardinals go on to win it 6-1.
