Cardinals Lose Series to Pirates

PITTSBURGH, Pe--The St. Louis Cardinals taking on the Pittsburgh Pirates Sunday afternoon. The teams split the first two games so the series on the line in game three. 

Bottom of the fourth Neil Walker drills a double to right, Andrew McCutchen scores from second. Pirates take the 1-0 lead.

Then, in the top of the 6th. Jon Jay up to bat and he takes this one deep. Matt Carpenter would score as Jay winds up with a triple. And it's tied at 1.

To the 7th, Tony Sanchez up for the Pirates and he'll smack a double off Adam Wainwright. Pedro Alvarez score the go ahead run. And it's 2-1 Pirates. 

Last hope for the Cardinals top of the ninth, two outs Matt Adams grounds out to second. Pirates win it 2-1. And take two games in the series.
