Bears Seniors Want To Pull Panther Upset

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--16 Missouri State Bears will step onto the turf at Plaster Stadium Saturday for the last time.

In our Bear Nation report, some of the team's biggest stars will be playing their last home game.

Guys like Malik Earl, Deion Holliman and Colby Isbell.

And Missouri State will be trying to win their third straight game.

That hasn't happened since 2013.

Standing in the way, the Northern Iowa Panthers.

The Panthers are 5-4 and have won three of their last four games.

But these Bear seniors want to their home finale to be something special.

"It's crazy to think this is the last one after being here for five years.  I just want to make the most of it.  We've been so close and the scoreboard hasn't reflected it.  In the past few games to have it all click kind of all come together is nice," said Bears senior Erik Furmanek.

"It feels good to get a couple of wins under us.  We've been working extremely hard in weights, practice and even in the classroom.  Everything goes hand in hand.  It starts in the classroom and goes to the field," said Bears senior Colby Isbell.
