Bear's 9th Inning Rally Stifled by Memphis

SPRINGFIELD, Mo -- Missouri State relied on a 4 run, 6th inning yesterday to top the Tigers from Memphis. They hit the diamond today, looking for their 14th win on the year.

We take you to Hammons Field for a beautiful day for baseball.

In the 5th, Aaron Meyer with the athletic play behind the mound. Throw is off the mark, but Jusin Paulsen. Nice throw big guy. He gets the runner, 3-5 to end the inning.

In the bottom half, Hunter Steinmetz would find green in right field, as Drew Millas cruises into 3rd. However next batter Alex Jefferson, ropes this to the hot corner, but Zach Schritenthal makes the nice snag, doubling up Millas at 3rd.

The Bears would load the bases in the 9th with no outs, however were unable to get the tying run across.

They fall 6-5, with the rubber match tomorrow at 1.
