But with 28 seconds left Alabama takes the lead, Cook's shot partially blocked but Ashley Williams is there for the putback, Tide up 62-61.
The Lady Bears turned the ball over four times in the last 30 seconds and lost 65-61.
So the Lady Bears are now 4-7 and will stay on the road opening the Valley season a week from Friday at Indiana State.
