Harley Davidson Goes Electric

Harley Davidson Goes Electric

The electric-motorcycle market is generating a lot of interest these days. BMW already sells a $22,500 C Evolution e-Scooter in Europe. A couple of specialty manufacturers, such as Brammo and Zero, are already in the market. Harley says it isn’t worried about being late to market, stating that what sets theirs apart is that it isn’t only green, it’s “badass green,” and that having that defining character is what their competitors simply don’t understand.

As fuel prices continue to climb and natural resource quantity comes into question time and time again, the consumer mindset is beginning to look at how much of a resource is left and how to either preserve it or find a work-around. Electric cars are beginning to gain momentum as charging stations finally start appearing nationwide, giving people hope that the electric future isn’t just a pipe dream.
