SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Guardrails save lives by helping to keep cars from veering off the road, but a certain type may be failing to do so. As a result, MoDOT has removed the use of ET Plus guardrails from its projects and approved product list. MoDOT estimates there are anywhere between 20,000 to 30,000 of these faulty guardrails in Missouri.
