SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The disappearance of a 15-year-old girl raises concerns among parents when it comes to kids and social media. According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Morrigan Cothran voluntarily left her home and hitch-hiked to Mississippi to visit the home of some friends she met on the internet. Thankfully, she was found safe in Mississippi Monday night. While the Sheriff's Office says there is no indication this involved an online predator, law enforcement officials would like to remind parents to monitor what their children are doing on the internet.
