Wal-Mart Cutting Hundreds More Jobs

BENTONVILLE, Ark.--Wal-Mart is slashing hundreds of more jobs as the company tries to cut costs and step up its online retail, according to The Wall Street Journal and CNBC.

The cuts will be made against Wal-Mart's international, technology, and Sam's Club corporate sectors.

In January, the company laid off nearly 1000 workers at its home office in Bentonville, Arkansas.

According to CNBC, Wal-Mart has eliminated around 18,000 jobs since 2016, however, many of those employees affected have been reassigned.
