Two People Found in Taney County Questioned in Nebraska Murder Case

Police believe they were last people seen with Syndey Loofe

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The body of a missing Nebraska woman is found.  Sydney loofe disappeared three weeks ago after going on a Tinder date.  And two persons of interest were arrested in Taney County, Missouri last week.

After nearly a month of hoping for a happy ending, Sydney Loofe's family confirms the 24-year-old is dead.
Her body was discovered in a rural spot in Clay County, Nebraska Tuesday.

Syndey's father, George Loofe, appealed to the public for help finding her earlier in the week.  "Thank you for all of your prayers and in my opinion, someone knows something, please, please do the right thing.  Thank you."

Loofe vanished last month after going on a Tinder date with Bailey Boswell.

Boswell and her roommate, Aubrey Trail, are in police custody on unrelated charges.  Taney County Sheriff Jimmy Russell says Boswell and Trail were brought to the Taney County Jail late in the evening on November 30 and were released to the U.S. Marshals at approx. 9 am. on December 1.**

However..... "We believe that Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell were two of the last people to have known to have been with Sydney prior to her disappearance. And that's why they continue to be persons of interest in this investigation," said Lincoln, Nebraska police chief Jeff Bliemeister.

Last week, prior to their arrests in Taney County, Missouri, Boswell and Trail posted several videos on social media.

Boswell confirms she was with Loofe on the last night she was seen.
"I went to take her home and she asked me to drop her off at her friend's house, so I did so."

Both Boswell and Trail say they're innocent and are being unfairly targeted by authorities.
"If we make a slip on this video and find something you find incriminating, please let us know," Trail said on a video posted to social media.

"I never killed anyone in my life, I've never hurt a female in my life," he said.  "You know, in America I thought it was a trial first, but I guess not."

The FBI is now assisting Lincoln Police in the investigation.  "We do believe that there is evidence of foul play," said Bliemeister.
