Tuesday Stand-Off in Willow Springs Peacefully Resolved

WILLOW SPRINGS, Mo.(Ozark Radio News)--Police say a stand-off in Willow Springs Tuesday afternoon was resolved peacefully.

Willow Springs Police Chief Bryan Hogan told Ozark Radio News the first incident was called in around 3:30 p.m., when the department received a report of screaming at an apartment near G&W Foods.

The suspect was taken into custody and put on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Agencies that assisted during the incident include the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, Howell County SWAT, Willow Springs Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Willow Springs Fire Department, which helped with traffic.

Chief Hogan also extended his personal thanks to all of the officers and agencies that helped during the incident.
