Three Arrested After Police Discover Meth Lab

PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. – Three people were arrested after police officers discovered a meth lab at a residence in the 13000 block of County Rd. 7020 in Rolla on Wednesday.

According to a statement form the Phelps County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was obtained for the residence after a short-term narcotics investigation and executed by officers of the South Central Drug Task Force, Phelps County Sheriff's Department and Rolla Police Department.

During the search of the property, officers discovered the meth lap, an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, meth lab materials and drug paraphernalia.

Debra Lee Stroup, 49, Jimmy Dale Stroup, 28, and Roger Dale Stroup, 49, of Rolla, were arrested and transported to the Phelps County Jail.

The following day, Feb. 20, the trio was charged with possession of a controlled substance and first-degree drug trafficking.

Bond was set at $100,000 each.
