Thousands Ride to Show Support for Hailey Owens

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- An estimated 3,000 motorcyclists and enthusiasts have gathered today to show their support for Hailey Owens.

Around 1,400 motorcycles have taken off on a memorial ride that that began at the American Legion Post 639 today Feb. 23 at 2 pm.

The ride will be going from Scenic onto Battlefield where they have asked people that are not riding to line the streets wearing pink and purple in memory of Hailey.

The ride ends back at the American Legion Post 639 where the second half of the memorial will be taking place. 

Bands will begin playing music at 4 pm where there will be food, an auction, raffles, and other events all to benefit the family of Hailey Owens.
