Texas Police Seize 600 Pounds of Meth-Laced Lollipops

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas--This may look like a innocent stash of sweet treats, but Texas police say these lollipops are actually laced with methamphetamine.

600 pounds worth of the dangerous drugs was found in a home in Houston Monday. Police were actually investigating a burglary, a neighbor reported someone breaking into the house, but they found a man and woman putting bags of candy into their car.

Police say the drugs were made in the home and the design of lollipops is raising concerns they were being marketed to children.

They have a street value of almost a million dollars.
