WEST PLAINS, Mo. -- (Ozarks Area Network) -- Two people have been charged after the West Plains Police Department and the Howell County SWAT team served a search warrant in West Plains early Friday morning.
The operation, which was conducted on a home at 713 Joe Jones Blvd., was conducted at 5:20 AM Friday morning. A report from the West Plains Police Department states that after clearing the scene, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office took over the investigation.
Three people in the home were taken into custody, however two were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance: 27-year-old Chelsea Spieth and 45-year-old Thomas Clinton, both of the home. The third suspect was released.
Law enforcement officials tell Ozark Radio News that methamphetamine was found in the home during the serving of the warrant.
At report time, both Spieth and Clinton were held on $7500 bond each. As of late Friday afternoon, Speith had a court date of August 4 set, while Clinton had no court date.

At daybreak, police were not releasing any information concerning the operation, but department officials tell Ozark Radio News that more information will be available later today.
