SOUTHWEST Mo. – Strong winds are causing numerous power outages and even building damage has been reported across the Ozarks.

According to Joel Alexander, with City Utilities, tree crews and the CU line are responding to numerous outages throughout the area.

High winds have caused some lines to fall and have impacted utility structures, says Alexander in an email.

Crews are working to restore power as soon as possible.
