Storm Damage Reported in SW Missouri

Overnight storms across far southwest Missouri left behind damage reports in several counties.

The National Weather Service has received the following damage reports since midnight:

1:05 am:  Two power lines snapped off and over the road at Highway 83 and 425th road, 1 mile northwest of Bolivar in Polk County

12:38 am:  Thunderstorm wind damage, 3 miles west of Aldrich in Polk County - one barn destroyed

12:06 am:  Thunderstorm wind damage 2 miles east of Carthage in Jasper County - tree reported down on a house at Chestnut and 118th.

12:39 am:  Thunderstorm wind damage in Greenfield in Dade County - tree reported fallen on car

12:25 am:  Emergency Manager in Barton County reported a cone tornado 1 mil south of Highway 126 approximately 2 miles east of Golden City, moving east.
