Springfield Police Searching for Vehicle Involved in Hit and Run

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield Police are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit and run.

Police say they received a call around 1:30 p.m. Saturday that a female jogger was struck by a dark-colored Nissan.

It happened in the 500 block of South Prince Lane.

Police are looking for a black, two door Nissan with possible damage to the passenger's side.

The jogger was transported to Mercy Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
