SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Salvation Army in Springfield will open the doors of it's Harbor House facility Thursday for a community Thanksgiving Meal.

The traditional turkey dinner with trimmings will feed an estimated 200 people or more from 11:30 am to 1 pm at 636. N. Boonville Avenue, just north of Chestnut Expressway.

Funding for the meal comes from donations from the Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights Campaign.

Donations of desserts are still needed and can be dropped off at the back entrance of Harbor House.
