ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Police are in search of a suspect wanted under a warrant for 1st degree robbery of a bank in St. Charles, according to a press release from the Osage Beach Police Department.
According to the report, Matthew K. Holleran, 37, and Tara Grippe, 24, of St. Louis, are suspects in a robbery that had taken place at a bank in St. Charles on Thursday. The report had no more information on the robbery.
Police were alerted to watch for a gold Mercury Sable with Missouri temporary tags with the suspected occupants inside.
On Friday morning, officers from the Osage Beach Police Department saw what they believed to be the suspect vehicle being driven into the Wendy’s parking lot in Osage Beach.
The occupants of the vehicle matched the description of the suspects.
Holleran reportedly excited the vehicle and was unable to be located.
Grippe was arrested on unrelated fraud warrants out of St. Louis Metro.
Police are now on the lookout for Holleran and ask those who see him to not approach him. Call local law enforcement immediately.
Holleran is 5 feet 5 inches, approximately 160 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
Holleran was last seen wearing a white v-neck short-sleeved shirt, dark shorts and tennis shoes.
