One Woman Stabbed, Treated for Non-Life Threatening Injuries

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- A woman was stabbed in her apartment after an argument became physical, August 1.

According to a report from Lt. Todd Revell of the Springfield Police Department, officers responded to a call at the Old Monterey Apartments at 527 E. Montclair at around 12 am August 2 for a domestic call.

The report states that a 21-year-old female was stabbed in the leg and also cut on her shoulder by a 25-year-old male she was engaged in the argument with.

The man fled the scene and was not immediately located.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
