Officer No Longer Works at MSU After Tweet of Apparent Porn Watching Goes Viral

After a viral tweet showed what appears to be an on-duty campus safety officer watching pornography, a Missouri State University spokeswoman said that officer is no longer employed at the school.

The tweet has more than 250 retweets and 1,400 likes. It has a video that shows a campus security SUV at night.

As the camera holder approaches the vehicle, a bright screen inside the car becomes visible. Whoever was in the car appears to be watching pornography on a phone.

One person replied to the tweet, saying it was "super unsettling" and asking MSU if there was an update to the situation.

"The officer no longer works for the university," MSU official account tweeted back.

Nicki Donnelson, an MSU spokeswoman, confirmed that the officer no longer works for the university.

When asked if the officer had been fired, Donnelson said "fired" was an inaccurate term.

When asked if the officer had resigned, Donnelson said that was private employment information that MSU won't provide.
