NWS Finds Tornado Damage in Hickory County

QUINCY, Mo.-- Meteorologists from the National Weather Service office in Springfield have concluded that an EF-1 tornado briefly caused damage Monday night in Hickory County, Mo.

According to information from the NWS, the tornado touched down just after 10 p.m. for just one minute with winds of 90 to 95 mph three miles south-southwest of Quincy, Mo. and had a path length of .75-miles.

Farm-outbuildings were destroyed and trees were uprooted. 

This is the fifth confirmed tornado from storms that rolled through the Ozarks Monday night.
