No Powerball Jackpot Yet - But Two $1-Million Prizes in MO

NIXA, Mo. -- The multi-state Powerball lottery jackpot is continuing to climb with no big prize winner yet.  But Missouri is claiming two million dollar winners in the drawing Saturday, Aug. 19.

The jackpot is currently estimated to be about $700 million for Wednesday's drawing.   But two people won $1 million each in Saturday's drawing, including a million-dollar winner in Nixa.

The Missouri Lottery says the ticket, matching all 5 of the white balls, was sold at the Nixa Price Cutter Store on  N. Massey. Another $1 million ticket was sold in Lees Summit.

Missouri Lottery players won more than $2.5 million in prizes on August 19. The winning numbers for Aug. 19 were 17, 19, 39, 43, 68, and the Powerball was 13.

Draw Game winners, including those who play Powerball, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winners have until Feb. 15. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in Springfield, Kansas City, St. Louis and Jefferson City.
