How could it be interesting without Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson you might ask?
Well, how about the 20-year-old Jordan Spieth, who is looking to become the youngest green-jacket winner in history.
Spieth and Bubba Watson tied at five under going into the final day, but Bubba Watson would pull away finishing at eight under.
Jordan Spieth and Jonas Blixt tied for second at 5 under.
Sunday, the Missouri State softball team hosted a pink-out game against Indiana State.
And for one of the Bears it meant more than just a game.
On Sunday’s pink game, senior catcher Anastacia Boeckstiegel and her family helped raise breast cancer awareness.
“It means a lot to me because I really want to get the word out,” says Boeckstiegel. “Women get your mammograms. If I can't do anything else, I would like every mom to look at their daughter and say I will make my appointment tomorrow."
Boeckstiegel’s mother, Janet, is a breast cancer survivor and threw out the first pitch to her daughter before the game.
“I think it is so amazing and special that we get to share this moment,” says Boeckstiegel. “I love my mom more than anything, she is my hero, my best friend, my mentor. I am so happy I get to spend this time with her and get this opportunity to catch her.”
And on a special day, the Bears and the Boeckstiegel's were able to get their win as MSU beat Indiana State 9-5.
In MLB, the Cardinals and the Cubs in a rubber match at Busch Stadium on Sunday.
Michael Wacha took the mound for the Cards and threw eight strike-outs in over six innings to help the Cards take game three by a score of 6-4.
The Cardinals travel to Milwaukee Monday night.
While the Kansas City Royals got swept by the Twins; they lost Sunday on the road by a score of 4-3.
