Grilled Pork Ribeyes with Beer BBQ Sauce

Chef Marty Lowry from HyVee has a BBQ recipe you might want to try Labor Day weekend: Grilled Pork Ribeyes with Beer BBQ Sauce.

1 cup Beer - whatever kind you like! Different beers will provide different flavors
1/2 cup Red wine vinegar
1/4 cup Molasses
4 T. Worcestershire
1 ½ cups Brown sugar
2 cups Ketchup
2 Tb. Onion Powder
2 Tb. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Black pepper
2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Paprika
1 T. Dry Mustard Powder
1/2 tsp. Ground Cayenne pepper
1 T. Chili Powder
1 Tsp. Ground Thyme

1.    Pour the beer into a pan, and reduce it to syrup. This is a big reduction, about 75-90%.
2.    While the beer is reducing, combine the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.
3.    Add the beer reduction to the rest of the sauce, and mix well.
