But the river isn't expected to crest in Grafton, Illinois until Friday. I-DOT is closing down state road 100 in Grafton due to flooding waters.

In Hannibal, Mo. residents are being forced to used boats and canoes to get around neighbors. Waters have risen up to the doors of some homes in the area.
Officials said it could be days before the water recedes and roads and bridges open up.
Low-lying areas along the river have seen some flooding because of heavy rain that's hit the area in the past couple of weeks.
