Men's Health Magazine featured Rodney McCloud and Justin Boschee for their techniques in staying in shape.
Prime headquarters in Springfield offers a weight room and gymnasium for its drivers passing through, but these drivers stay in shape even while being on the road 350 days a year.
The program was designed by the company's health and fitness coach and uses technology to monitor their metabolism and eating habits on the road.
"Every driver that has lost weight, become healthier, come off medications is influencing the next driver,” says Prime Inc. Health Coach Siphiwe Baleka.
Rodney McCloud says he carries his gym with him.
"My gym is in the truck,” says McCloud. “I carry 300 pounds of weights, plus a weight bench plus resistance straps."
Justin Boschee says his focus is on the food he eats.
"I got myself onto a diet that was high in protein, low in carbs,” says Boschee. “So I was still able to eat what I enjoyed and also find stuff that can stay in the truck."
Wednesday morning on KOLR10’s Daybreak, we will show you the techniques they are using and how you could benefit from them if you find yourself sitting at work or home for most of the day.
