Here's a look at the markets for May 9, 2017....

The Nikkei fell 52 points today in Tokyo.
Wall Street opened the week with another record day.
The Dow gained 5 points Monday.
The NASDAQ hit a new high by gaining a little more than a point.

Consumers will soon have a new choice for cellphone service. Comcast is teaming up with Charter in an effort to compete with Verizon and AT&T. The two cable companies will work together to build out their wireless services. Comcast is expected to launch theirs--called Xfinity Mobile--in the next several weeks.

Facebook is trying to combat fake news in the run up to elections in the UK. The social network placed ads in several British newspapers offering advice on spotting bogus content. Tips include, checking the article's date… making sure it's not from a look-alike news-source, and being skeptical of stories with misspellings or all-caps headlines with exclamation points.

And this will be a different kind of beach read.  Former President Bill Clinton and bestselling novelist James Patterson are teaming up to co-write a thriller. The publishers say the "intrigue, suspense and behind-the-scenes global drama… will be informed by details that only a president can know." It's called  "The President is Missing" and is due out in June 2018.
