Lost and Found Grief Center Accepts Grant

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--The Lost and Found Grief Center got a got a little relief of its own recently.

Lost and Found received a Grief Reach Grant from the New York Life Foundation to help expand awareness of the program and to better assess community needs.

The$10,000 grant also helped fund a new wrap for a City Utilities bus -- which was revealed Wednesday -- in an attempt to inform the community about lost and found's services.

Dr. Karen Scott, Co-Founder, and Dir. of Program Development said," It's a way for us to have a moving billboard that lets families know about the services at Lost and Found - helping keep that top of mind."

Lost and Found provides free grief support for children, young adults, and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one.
