SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - A group of republican state lawmakers came to Springfield to get answers from the Governor and his administration over the release of personal information.

An investigation is underway by the Bi-Partisan Investigative Committee on Privacy Protection.

The controversy in the legislature stems from the Missouri Department of Revenue forwarding records of people who have carry-conceal permits.

The Investigative Committee voted to issue subpoenas to six Nixon employees this week.

Nixon has said in the past that state and federal laws have been followed.
