CAMDENTON, Mo. -- A man from Camdenton is recovering from serious injuries, after he was thrown off his waverunner and was by a second vessel on Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri Highway Patrol Water Division officers say Fred Hunnius, 72, made a sharp turn on the water near the 13 mile marker of the Big Niangua arm of the lake Thursday night.
He was thrown out into the water and was hit by a jet ski.

Hannius was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach with serious injuries, officers said.
