JOPLIN, Mo. -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at 32nd Street and Indiana in Joplin.

At approximately 11:06 am Mar. 22, Joplin Police were dispatched to Family Pharmacy located at 3202 S. Indiana.

Store clerks say a man wearing a ski mask robbed them with a knife.

They believe he is in his 20's, standing 5'10" tall and weighing approximately 150 lbs.

The suspect threatened the workers while demanding the drug, Oxycontin. After stealing all of the Oxycontin, the man then fled the pharmacy on foot.

"Employees in the building were able to call 911 and activate their hold up alarm and officers were quick to respond and secure the scene. Jasper County responded with their canine and performed a track," says Corporal Austin Wolf of the Joplin Police Department.

He was last seen wearing a black sweat shirt, dark pants, and a ski mask.

No one was injured in the incident and the case is still under investigation.
