Most adults consume 10-percent or more of their daily calories from added sugar. A new study from the Centers for Disease Control finds the more calories from added sugar the greater risk of death from cardiovascular disease. Added sugar can be found in many beverages, processed foods, and candy. Experts suggest limiting their consumption.
And a world-wide team of experts claim high blood pressure could be just as devastating to global health as H-I-V. While high blood pressure is often thought of as a disease of wealthy countries…it's spreading fast to the rest of the world. Although hypertension is not an infectious disease it often leads to deadly illnesses.
