Iron deficiency may increase your risk for stroke.  Scientists at Imperial Ccollege in London found lack of iron increases the stickiness of blood cells and makes them more likely to clot.   Strokes can occur when clots interrupt blood supply to the brain.
 
A new study confirms what many already suspected, stress causes headaches.   German researchers studied more than 5000 people ages 21 to 71.  They found patients who reported high stress in their lives also had more headaches.   They also discovered as stress levels increased for people so did their headaches.
 
And synthetic chemicals used to pack, store and process foods may be harmful to your health over time.   That's the message from a group of environmental scientists in Great Britain.  They say people who eat processed or packaged foods are chronically exposed to low levels of known cancer-causing chemicals, such as formaldehyde.  Other chemicals in packaged food are known to disrupt hormone production.
