Game 6 a Wild Back and Forth - with Cards Winning in 11 Innings

The St. Louis Cardinals improbable run through the post season survived a wild and crazy Game 6 of the World Series to tie the series at three games each.

Stan "The Man: Musial and the Cards Hall of Famers on hand for this must win game.

Texas would open the scoring in the first, Josh Hamilton singles to right, Ian Kinsler scores it's 1-0.
But the Cardinals would get back in it in the bottom half, Lance Berkman with this drive to left center, over the boards and gone, a two run shot it's 2-1, St. Louis.

It was 4-4 in the 7th when the Rangers busted it open, Beltre takes Lance Lynn to right center, a solo shot it's 5-4 rangers.

Next batter is Nelson Cruz, with a blast to left, it stays fair and it's gone, back to back jacks - it's 6-4, Texas.

But in the bottom of the 9th, with two out and two on, David Freese fires one deep to right, off the boards, Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman both score and we go into extra innings tied at 7.

But in the top of the 10th, a man on for Josh Hamilton and he blasts this rocket to right, a 2-run shot;  it's 9-7 Rangers.

But the Cardinals rallied again, in the bottom of the tenth, Lance Berkman singles to right, Jon Jay scores, and it's tied again at 9-9.

Finally, in the bottom of the 11th, hometown hero David Freese belted the game-winning homer to right, Cards win 10-9 force Game 7 tonight at 7:05 central time.
