SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- The Gala of Royal Horses will be a JQH today, Mar. 9 for their first North American appearance.

The Gala of Horses will be a Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts at 3 pm Mar. 9 with Riding Master Rene Gasser for their first appearance in North America.

The world-renowned equestrian tour is following in family footsteps of seven generations of performers.

Gasser has recreated the show specifically for this tour.

The performance will be modeled off of the famous riding schools in Vienna and Spain.

The Royal Horses of Europe feature equestrian riders and bullfighters all in the tradition and athleticism of the celebrated breed.

“The unique qualities of the Royal Horses single them out from all the other breeds in the Equine world. Their physical beauty and grace, coupled with exceptional courage and nobility make them an object of admiration and a source of inspiration for horse lovers everywhere,” said Gasser.

These Spanish horses will be accompanied by Spanish Flamenco dancers in authentic costume.

After The Gala of Royal Horses makes its stop in Springfield it will continue on in its North American tour ending Apr. 27
