Brothers with the Kappa Sigma fraternity are staying up for 48 hours to raise money for the No Sleep for Soldiers campaign.
Members of the organization say it's designed to assist wounded military veterans returning home from active duty.
The funds will go to housing at veteran’s administration centers throughout the country and help support military families financially while the solider goes through recovery.
"It’s our primary philanthropy for the fraternity,” says Tyler Whitworth, Kappa Sigma, MSSU. “It's what we go for and strive for. Just help out all of our wounded vets, build them new houses and everything so that they can live better lives.”
This is the second year for the campaign at Missouri Southern. The goal is to raise $2,500.
