ST. LOUIS -- Four people were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds overnight inside a home near Saint Louis.

Authorities say they were called to the home in the town of Glasgow Village late Thursday night.

"Last night, prior to midnight, it was about 11:53 p.m. we received a call for service for what's commonly referred to as a check the welfare," Officer Benjamin Granda with the St. Louis County Police Department said. "Loved ones of individuals present within the home here, 10400 block of Balmoral, were concerned about their loved ones inside. When officers entered the home, they found four individuals deceased. One female and three males."

Authorities say all four of the victims were last seen or heard from Wednesday night.

KMOV reports 56-year-old Patricia Steward and her son, 20-year-old son Joseph Corley, were identified Friday night but the identities of two other males, ages 18 and 10, have not been released.
