Four Car Fatal Accident in Laclede County

LACLEDE COUNTY, Mo.--A four car fatal accident near Lebanon, Mo. leaves one dead and two with serious injuries.

The accident occurred on MO Highway 64 just half of a mile East of MO Highway AA in Laclede County April 25 at approximately 9:20 pm.

A vehicle driven by James A. Coleman, 59, of Lebanon, Mo. traveled eastbound crossed the center line, side-swiped a westbound vehicle and then collided with another westbound vehicle driven by Angela L. Even, 44, of Lebanon, Mo. head on.

Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene, his passenger Bryant L. Long, 49, also of Lebanon was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries, while Even was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon with minor injuries.

That is when another eastbound vehicle driven by Dalton Stuckey, 18, of Lebanon, Mo. struck the westbound vehicle head on after all three vehicles came to rest in the roadway.

Stuckey’s vehicle then traveled off of the side of the highway and he was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.

This is Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop I’s 4th fatal accident for the year.
