First Same-Sex Marriage Certificate Issued In Eureka Springs

EUREKA SPRINGS, Ar. -- The first marriage license for a same-sex couple in Arkansas has been issued in Eureka Springs May 10.

Couples wishing to get married in the wake of the ruling regarding same-sex marriage have lined up outside the he Carroll County Western District Clerk's office in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

The office is open on Saturdays to issue marriage licenses.

The office is scheduled to close at 1:00 p.m. today.
