CBSNews -- If you're having trouble finding true love, maybe you should be looking at work. A new survey finds that quite a few people find their spouses on the job.

Stacey and Adam Lisi found love at work. Their work place romance led to marriage and then children.

"We had a connection and we went from there,” says Adam.

According to a national survey by, 38 percent of U.S. workers dated someone who worked for the same company. And 31 percent of those people say the office romance led to the altar.

"Early on, the intention was to keep it a secret because you never know what's going to happen,” says Stacey.

Adam and Stacey are both pharmacists at Rutger's Cancer Institute in New Jersey. Since they sometimes work together, they make a point not to talk shop when they come home.

"If I've had a bad day, because he's come through and seen it he always knows,” says Stacey. “I don't have to rehash all that.”

The survey says the companies where you are most likely to find love are in the leisure and hospitality business; places like hotels and restaurants.

And once you are in a relationship, recommends you check your company’s policy. It's a good idea to keep your work life separate from your home life, like the Lisis.
