The Nikkei is up 42 points today in trading in Tokyo.
On Wall Street, the Dow was up 49 points Wednesday.
And the Nasdaq added 29.

Numbers on weekly jobless claims come out today as well as a report on personal income.

Police may not search your cellphone without first getting a search warrant.
The Supreme Court was unanimous in that ruling yesterday.
The Obama Administration defends cellphone searches but defendants claim cellphones are more like small computers that can store sensitive personal information.

Car rental season is in full swing as Americans prepare to make travel plans.
Consumer website Car Hub studied four major cards to see who gives you the best coverage and benefits on rental insurance.
American Express received the highest score of 90 percent for it's rental car insurance policy. Visa ranked fourth.
All cards provided some form of coverage.

Google recently showed off new smart watch technology at its annual developers conference.
The operating system is called Android Wear.
It allows the smart watch and Android smart phone to sync automatically.
Users can see messages, access apps and use other features normally available on your smart phone.
