CBSNews -- Boeing is adding more carry-on room and one company is making a TV you can roll up.

The S&P close up but still ended the week about a point lower than last week. Overall, the markets ended with small gains Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 29 points.

The NASDAQ was up 19.

Amazon is moving forward with its plan to deliver packages via drones. The e-commerce company has asked the federal aviation administration for permission to use drones.

The devices are currently banned for most commercial uses.

Amazon is hoping the FAA will make an exemption so it can test the air-delivery idea in the United States.

If you're tired of fighting for carry-on space when you fly - Boeing may have the answer. The company will soon offer bigger bins on new Boeing 737s.

Boeing calls them "space bins" and they'll stow about 48 percent more bags than the current pivot bins.

Boeing says Alaska Airlines is their first customer.

The new bins will be available on planes late next year.

Imagine being able to take your wide screen TV, roll it up and put it in the car.

Consumer electronics company IG has announced a new flexible panel that can make that possible.

The new panel uses thin-film-liquid crystal displays.

The Korean-based company also showed off an 18-inch transparent screen.
