If you're keeping on top of the stock markets this morning,  Wednesday, February 12, 2014....

The Nikkei is up 82 points today in Tokyo.
On Wall Street, the Dow soared Tuesday, up 193 points.
And the Nasdaq gained 43.

Stocks skyrocketed Tuesday after Janet Yellen told a congressional panel she is committed to following the low interest-rate policy of her predecessor, Ben Bernanke.
The new Federal Reserve chair signaled that if the U.S. economy continues to improve the Fed will likely scale back stimulus measures put in place during the financial crisis.
Yellen will go before the Senate Thursday.

A major car seat recall.
Graco is recalling almost 3.8 million safety seats - the company says some buckles may not unlatch and trap children.
The recall covers 11 models sold from 2009 through 2013.
Graco says people can go to its website to find out how to get a free replacement buckle.
But the government believes more seats from Graco could be dangerous.
Regulators say 1.8 million rear facing seats for infants should also be included in the recall.

As you prepare to buy red roses for Valentine's Day, expect to pay more.
Prices spike in February thanks to a jump in demand.
The wholesale price for a single long stem rose is usually about a dollar but could double by Valentine's Day depending where you live.
Growers say higher labor and transportation costs could push prices even higher this year.
