The Nikkei is up 157 points today in Tokyo.
On Wall Street, the Dow was up 65 points Tuesday.
The Nasdaq gained 40.
The stock market closed on a up day yesterday, as more U.S. companies report solid earnings.
Today we'll get figures on new home sales. This follows Tuesday's existing home sales report from the National Association of Realtors which found existing home sales are down point 2 percent.
College graduates have a better chance of getting a job this year, compared to last year.
The Labor Department reports that the unemployment rate for 2013 graduates was 10.9 percent. That's down from 13.3 percent for 2012 graduates. And it's the lowest rate since 2007, before the great recession.
Flying can be pricey.
But according to the U-S Department of Transportation, travel within the U.S cost just $1 more, on average, than last year.
The average domestic airfare rose to $381 in the fourth quarter of 2013.
