The Nikkei dropped 28 points today in Tokyo.
On Wall Street, the Dow lost 46 points by the close of trading Friday.
The Nasdaq was down 4.

The economy appears to rebounding after a brutal winter. U.S. employers added 288,000 jobs in April -- the biggest hiring surge in two years. Unemployment fell to 6.3 percent - the lowest level since September of 2008. The decline is due in part to a drop in the number of people looking for work...
The mediator hired by General Motors to settle claims over  a faulty ignition switch has begun talks about compensating the families of victims.
Kenneth Feinberg met with the attorney who represents more than 300 people and families with claims of injuries or deaths caused by recalled GM vehicles.

Employers want to hire more college grads..a new study by online jobs site says 57-percent of employers plan to hire new college grads this year. That's up from 53-percent last year.

And Fruit of the Loom is teaming up with - the Naked Cowboy. The company calls the pairing a natural fit.  Fruit of the loom is launching a new line of boxer briefs with the help of the Times Square fixture - whose real name is Robert Burck. While the Naked Cowboy has always played his guitar in traditional white briefs, the newly launched  campaign will feature him switching to Fruit of the Loom's new tapered briefs.
